Eliana really notices, particularly in her toddler class at church, when someone needs help. She might pick up a cup or crayon, comfort a crying friend, or pick up toys. If Eliana is around a baby, watch out! She LOVES to take care of babies - bring bottles, pacifiers, blankets, toys, etc. At home, Eliana helps with the laundry and cleaning out the dishwasher each week, though there are bunches of things she volunteers to do daily. Eliana even notices when others are helpful to us and usually comments, "That was nice." What a blessing it is to watch Eliana in action and be able to teach her through words and show her through actions how to minister to the needs of others.
So while Eliana is learning so many things by helping, we are learning to work on our PATIENCE! :o)
She'd rather eat the groceries!
The labels had to come off before putting the water away.
Helping daddy put together the rails for her big girl bed.
Helping daddy take her crib apart.
At least now, helping in the kitchen has developed
into more than just eating chocolate chips!

Yes, indeed, patience is key, but it's so worth it when you see them getting excited about learning something new or helping out with a big chore.
I love that she had to take the labels off of the water bottles. =) Does she have OCD? LOL!!
I love each and every picture. I know that she gets her servants heart from her mommy and daddy. You both serve so hard at Church and are always looking to help out a friend... aka me! She is such a blessing as are you both.
Those are great pictures! She is a great helper! I also loved the little comment about Patch the Pirate for Ryan. :)
