Happy Thanksgiving!

"Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's" (Psalm 103:1-6).

No matter where you are spending time this Thanksgiving, or who you are spending time with, may you reflect on all that God has done for you and discover at least one new reason to be thankful.

Now on to some humor...Eliana learned her first poem and after several "takes," we thought this was the best of the bunch.

The Turkey

The turkey is a funny bird.
His head goes wobble, wobble.
All he says is just one word,
"Gobble, gobble, gobble."

Oh, that is soooo cute! =) My girls learned that poem when they were about her age from one of our Wee Sing tapes. They're little sponges, aren't they? I wish I could learn/memorize things as quickly as they do. =)
