Things We've Learned - #10: Who Needs Toys?!

Quite of bit of Eliana's amusement has included some "non-toys." Most times it can be pretty easy to think up something, other times it takes some creativity, and the rest of the time Eliana has lead the way in making her own fun! We did not get pictures of all of Eliana's "toys," but some that we remember include package bows, a small bag of unopened chips, a lanyard, newspaper, etc.

Who needs toys when you have...

...Mommy's purse
...cats
...groceries
...boxes,
...boxes,
...and more boxes (must be a favorite)
...downspouts
...toiletries
...rubber gloves
..."heavy" buckets
...sticks
...styrofoam
...colored noodles
...make-up
...bandaids
...coins

We're waiting to see what other "non-toys" are yet to be discovered and enjoyed.

Love it! Boxes ARE the best!! Sticks are probably 2nd best (at least with my girls). =) Kids are so spoiled with an overabundance of toys. They get to explore their creativity more with these "non-toys."
