Tuesday, June 16, we received a call from our friends Mike and Sandra, that completely changed our lives, particularly the make-up of our family. There are so many details we could share, but since it would take almost three weeks to do it, we'll keep it short and sweet for now. (We reserve the right to give many more details in future posts.) :o) We would like to introduce to you our newest family member, Landon James. Landon was born April 27. We first learned about him on Tuesday, June 16, and he arrived in our home on James' birthday, June 18. The arrangement at that time was "babysitting" with the intent to adopt. Through a variety of circumstances over a very short period of time, Landon was in foster care for two weeks while we completed our adoption home study. Wednesday, July 8, we were reunited!!!!!
Now we are in the process of completing the adoption, which could be finalized by the end of the year. We certainly appreciate your prayers for us ~ past, present, and future.
It may not be Monday, but this is truly a Work of God!
