New Additions

God has blessed us in recent days with several new or "new to us" things using His people and His resources to provide them. We are thankful for God's provision. Hopefully we have remembered everything.

Most of the items are technology related. Our printer died and had to be replaced, which we did with Christmas money. We ended up with a Canon printer and it works nicely. James earns points through his company, so after accumulating a good number of points, we added to our photography equipment by purchasing a Nikon D40 digital SLR camera. We love it! It is especially nice for a toddler on the move. Our most recent purchase, and perhaps the biggest shock, was an iMac. In our most recent post we mentioned our computer difficulties. Over the past several years, we have had many people trying to persuade us to make the switch from a PC to an Apple. Well, we did it! Our income tax return enabled us to purchase it. (We continue to make steps to restore the old computer and recover the documents, pictures, etc. that it contained.) We have had the iMac for less than a day and already see many better features and logical system organization. As we figure everything out, we will be posting more pictures (taken with our new camera).

Eliana's favorite new addition is a Step 2 swing set. Some friends of ours at church asked if we would be interested in having it. There are two swings and a slide. Needless to say, we have been outside a lot more in recent days. The weather has been very beautiful and we are enjoying our time outdoors!

We've also welcomed a new baby into the Harrison family. Chris and Lisa Harrison recently adopted Caden and we hosted a drop-in baby shower for them. It was fun to reunite with them, but even more of a blessing to see how God answered their prayers in adding to their family.

So, March has been quite the month filled with activities and such. And...it's not over. We are celebrating Resurrection Sunday this weekend at Providence Baptist Church. There will be special music and the service will be followed by a celebration breakfast. Then we are on vacation (at home) to celebrate Eliana's second birthday, which will mean a trip to the zoo and a party.
